April Steaming Weekend & Routemaster Bus Shuttle

All day admission to Kempton Steam Museum. Please feel free to enter at any time. We will be operating a free heritage bus shuttle to the museum on both days. The bus is optional and operated on a first come basis.
Two bus services will be in operation. The Saturday Feltham service will operate on Saturday 22nd April from Feltham Station and Kempton Park Station to Kempton Steam Museum. The Sunday Twickenham service will operate on Sunday 23rd April from Twickenham Station and Kempton Park Station to Kempton Steam Museum.
The museum car park, except accessible parking bays, will be capacity limited over the weekend due to works. We encourage visitors to use the car park at Kempton Park Race Course next door or other public transport options if possible. The Routemaster bus will call via Kempton Park Station and the race course car park at numerous times both days. Kempton Park Station and race course car park are within a 15min walk to the museum should you not wish to use the bus.
Bus rides will be offered for free and the bus may be hailed from bus stops along the route. The bus services are as follows:
Saturday Service (Feltham)
The bus will depart from Feltham Railway Station (Stop D outside Platform 1) for Kempton Steam Museum via Kempton Park Railway Station and race course car park at:
10:00, 11:05, 12:05, 13:30, 14:30.
The bus will depart from Kempton Park Railway Station and race course car park for Kempton Steam Museum at:
10:30, 11:35, 12:35, 14:00, 14:50.
The bus will depart Kempton Steam Museum fast for Feltham Railway Station (Stop D) then Kempton Park Railway Station and race course car park at:
10:45, 11:50, 13:15, 14:15, 15:45.
Sunday Service (Twickenham)
The bus will depart from Twickenham Station (Albany Bus Stand outside the Albany Pub) for Kempton Steam Museum at:
10:00, 11:15, 13:15.
The bus will depart from Kempton Park Railway Station and race course car park for Kempton Steam Museum at:
10:35, 11:50, 13:50.
The bus will depart Kempton Steam Museum for Twickenham Station (Albany Bus Stand) fast via Kempton Park Railway Station and race course car park at:
12:30, 14:10, 15:45.
Further Details
The shuttle is operated by heritage vehicles which are not step-free or wheelchair accessible. The times above are approximate. We aim to run the service as close to time as possible but may be influenced by other road traffic. *Please be aware that visitors parking at Kempton Park Race Course do so a their own risk. Visitors may also walk from Kempton Park Station and race course to the museum. This will require a 15 minute walk. Details of the walk may be found here.N.B.
