New Years Steam Up &

Routemaster Bus Shuttle (optional extra)

(29th30th & 31st December 2025)

Kempton open: 10.30am-4pm

End the year in spectacular style as our mighty triple-expansion engine steams back to life on 29th, 30th & 31st December at Kempton Steam Museum.

And that’s not all…

Back by popular demand, we’re once again teaming up with our friends at the London Museum of Water & Steam (LMWS)! With a special joint ticket, you can explore both museums in one day and travel between them aboard a classic Routemaster bus.

Discover two historic pumping stations, marvel at the engineering giants that once powered London’s water supply, and round off the year with a steam-powered adventure the whole family will love ❤️

ROUTEMASTER BUS RIDE

Hopping onboard? The ride is included with joint admission tickets to both museums. Please note: as a heritage vehicle, the bus does not have step-free access.

🚆 Travelling by public transport? We recommend starting your day at the London Museum of Water & Steam and catching the shuttle to Kempton.

🚗 Coming by car? We suggest beginning at Kempton, where there is plenty of free parking.
