All day admission to Kempton Steam Museum. Please feel free to enter at any time.
We fully intend to run the Sir William Prescott engine on the above days. The engine will run throughout the day.
We also intend to operate a Classic Routemaster Bus between Kempton and the London Museum of Water & Steam (LMWS) in Brentford on both days. The ride will take 30mins. Travel on the bus is included in some of the ticket options which include a ticket giving admission to both museums. Please note that the bus is a heritage vehicle and does not have step-free access. The London Museum of Water & Steam will also be in steam.
We advise visitors using public transport to start their day at the London Museum of Water & Steam and catch the shuttle bus to Kempton. Those travelling by car are advised to start their day at Kempton where there is ample parking.

*Guided tours of the static engine cost an additional £3 and require booking in advance. A general admission ticket is also required when booking a tour. They will take place at: 13:30; 14:00; 14:30; 15:00 and last about an hour. The tour will require climbing steep stairs and has a minimum height limit of 1.4m (4' 7") due to the historic railings. They are offered on a best endeavours basis. Should for any reason we have to cancel the tour due to operational issues, we will offer a full refund for the tour. Please select a tour time when making your booking.
For safety reasons the tours are limited to groups of 8. If ‘0’ is shown when trying to make a booking then all places on that tour have been booked.

The museum is an industrial environment containing moving machinery, steep stairs and hard surfaces. Children must remain supervised at all times.
This ticket is for museum admission only. Tickets for the waterworks railway must be purchased separately.
N.B. We now have an access lift which enables step free access from the ground to the main museum floor.
